UCI track world championships 1923

The 19th UCI Track World Championships took place between August 18 and 26, 1923 on the Oerlikon cycling track in Zurich .

Starters from the Association of German Cyclists also took part in these world championships . The association had been excluded from the Union Cycliste Internationale for four years after the First World War . To celebrate this event, the magazine Illustrierter Radrenn-Sport published a special supplement about the World Cup.

The competitions took place in bright sunshine and around 15,000 spectators every day.
