Elisa Frisoni

Elisa Frisoni (born August 8, 1985 in Isola della Scala , Verona ) is an Italian track cyclist , three-time junior world champion and three-time European champion in short-term disciplines.

In 2002 Elisa Frisoni won five international titles: She was three-time junior world champion in Melbourne , in the keirin , in the sprint and in the 500 m time trial, as well as double European junior champion in the sprint and time trial.

In 2004 Frisoni was three times Italian champion in sprint, keirin and time trial. At her first start at an elite World Cup in 2004 and 2005, she was runner-up in Keirin. In 2004 she also became vice European champion (U23) in the time trial. At the Italian Championships in 2007 she took three first and one second place. In 2005 she won another European time trial title.

In 2007 Elisa Frisoni took first place in the Sprint and second in the Keirin at the "Open Balkan Championships". In 2009 she took two second places each in World Cup races .
