Dominique Cornu (born October 10, 1985 in Beveren ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Dominique Cornu won the Belgian junior time trial title in 2003 , which he was able to defend in 2004.

After moving to the adult field, he became Belgian road time trial champion and world champion in the U23 class in 2006 . He was also national champion of the elite in the single pursuit on the track . Cornu also won this national championship title in 2007 and 2014. In 2007 he was also the U23 European Pursuit Champion.

Incidentally, Cornu devoted himself mainly to road cycling and rode for the UCI ProTeams Lotto (2007 and 2008) and Quick Step-Innergetic (2009). He won a stage at the Giro del Capo in 2008 and an individual time trial at the Tour of Belgium in 2010 .

After a few years with smaller teams, he ended his career as an active player after the 2015 season.
