Cari Higgins (born October 5, 1976 in Boulder ) is a former American cyclist who was primarily active on the track .

Cari Higgins began competitive cycling at the age of 29 on the advice of her husband. Just two years later, she became the American team sprint champion with Liz Reap-Carlson and took third place in the 500-meter time trial . In 2008 she won four national titles, in the time trial, in the sprint , in the keirin and in the team sprint (with Reap-Carlson). At the UCI Track World Championships in 2011 in Apeldoorn , she was sixth in the points race , and the following year she was fifth in the scratch at the World Track Championships .

In 2012 Higgins was again national champion, in the team pursuit with Lauren Tamayo and Jacquelin Crowell , in 2013 she won the title in the points race.
