Alex Bird (born March 6, 1985 in Canberra ) is an Australian track cyclist who specializes in short-term disciplines.
Alex Bird has been successful on a national level since 2008, especially in team sprints and sprints . In 2010 he became Australian champion for the first time, in the team sprint with Daniel Ellis and Gary Ryan . In 2011 he won the bronze medal in the team sprint at the Oceanic Cycling Championships with James Glasspool and Andrew Taylor . The following year he became national sprint champion.
