Sergei Wladimirowitsch Schilow ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Шилов ; born February 6, 1988 in Tchaikovsky in Perm Oblast ) is a Russian track and road cyclist.

Athletic career

Sergei Schilow started for CSKA Moscow and was first trained by Svetlana Sakharova . Alexander Schischkin is now his trainer. He started his career in 2009 with the Russian Continental Team Moscow . In the 2010 season he won a stage and the overall standings at the Vuelta Ciclista a Cartagena and the Bidasoa Itzulia. He also won a section at the Volta Ciclista Provincia Tarragona and two stages at the Vuelta a Palencia. At the Summer Olympics Young Russia Schilow won the individual time trial of the U23 class and at the U23 European Championships, he finished tenth in the road race.

On the track, Sergei Schilow won the gold medal in the team pursuit and bronze in the scratch at the U23 European Championship 2010. In 2015 he won the team pursuit at the World Cup run in Cali with Alexander Serow , Dmitri Sokolow and Kirill Sweschnikow . At the UEC European Rail Championships 2017 in Berlin, the Russian four-man with Schilow, Sokolow, Alexander Evtuschenko and Mamyr Stasch took third place.
