Alexander Nikolajewitsch Porsew ( Russian Александр Николаевич Порсев ; born February 21, 1986 in Novy ) is a Russian road cyclist .

Career

Alexander Porsew started his international career in 2008 with the Russian Continental Team Katjuscha . He won in the 2009 season he won five stages in the national stage race Udmurt Republic Stage Race and finished third in the overall standings. In 2010 he achieved his first international successes with stage wins at the Tour du Loir-et-Cher and the Tour of Slovakia . He received his first contract with a UCI ProTeam in 2011 with the Katusha team , for which he drove as a stagiaire the previous year . In 2014 and 2017 he became the Russian road champion . He also won a stage of the Tour of Slovenia in 2016 .
