Slovenia tour
The Tour of Slovenia ( Slovenian Dirka po Sloveniji ) is a Slovenian cycling race.
The stage race , which usually takes place in May or June and usually comprises five stages, was held for the first time in 1993, two years after Slovenia gained independence from Yugoslavia . Since the introduction of the UCI Europe Tour in the 2005 season, the race has been part of this racing series and classified in category 2.1. Record winners are Mitja Mahorič , Tomaž Nose and Diego Ulissi , who each won the race twice.
