Mitja Mahorič
Mitja Mahorič (born May 12, 1976 in Ptuj ) is a former Slovenian cyclist .
Mitja Mahorič began his career in 2002 with the Slovenian cycling team Perutnina Ptuj . In his second year he won the overall ranking of the Tour of Slovenia and later the national time trial championship. A year later he won a stage in the Tour of Slovenia and won the race through his home country for the second time. In the 2005 season he was Slovenian road racing champion. In 2006 he won the Raiffeisen Grand Prix and was sixth in the Regio-Tour . In 2008 he won the overall ranking and two stages The Paths of King Nikola and the Classic Beograd-Cacak , and in 2009 the Istrian Spring Trophy .
