Paolo Simion (born October 10, 1992 in Castelfranco Veneto ) is an Italian racing cyclist who is active on the road and track .

Athletic career

In 2007 Paolo Simion was third in the Italian team pursuit championship in Bassano del Grappa as a youngster . In 2010 he was Italian junior champion in road racing and junior European champion in omnium on the track. He also finished fourth in the road race of the Junior European Championship. In 2012 he won several small road races in Italy. In the same year he won the gold medal in the Omnium at the first run of the 2012/13 Track Cycling World Cup in Cali . In 2013 he won the Italian team pursuit championship with Alex Buttazzoni , Michele Scartezzini and Marco Coledan .

On the road, Simion won the Circuito del Porto in 2012 and 2013 , and a stage in the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia in 2013 . In 2018 he decided one stage of the tour of Croatia for himself.
