Jörg Müller (born January 23, 1961 in Aarau ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Jörg Müller was a professional racing driver from 1984 to 1994. In 1985 he won the Tour de Romandie and in 1986 the Tour d'Armorique . In 1987 he became the Swiss road racing champion after having become national champion in the single pursuit on the track in 1984 . In 1989 he won the Grand Prix des Amériques . In 1988 he finished first in the six-day race in Zurich with Daniel Gisiger .

In 1984 Jörg Müller started in three disciplines - individual pursuit, team pursuit and points race at the Olympic Summer Games in Los Angeles ; in the points race, he finished fourth.

Jörg Müller took part in the Tour de France eight times between 1986 and 1994 . At the start of 1989 he won the team time trial together with his team PDM-Concorde (including Steven Rooks and Sean Kelly ). He also competed twice in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España .

After retiring from active cycling, Jörg Müller worked as Lance Armstrong 's press spokesman in the early 2000s . He is not to be confused with the German racing cyclist Jörg Müller, who made a doping confession in 2007.
