Sébastien Reichenbach (born May 28, 1989 in Martigny ) is a Swiss cyclist .

Career

Reichenbach began his international career in 2010 with the Swiss Continental Team Atlas Personal . From 2013 to 2015 he rode for IAM Cycling, initially with a license as a Professional Continental Team and from 2015 as the UCI WorldTeam . For this team he won the Trofeo Matteotti in 2013, ahead of his teammate Johann Tschopp , with whom he had separated from a leading group a few kilometers from the finish . In the following year he finished his first big tour of the country in the Tour de France 2014 in 85th place .

For the 2016 season, Reichenbach moved to the French team FDJ . He finished 14th in the 2016 Tour de France and 15th in the 2017 Giro d'Italia .

During the Tour de Romandie 2017 , Reichenbach reported that his dark-skinned team-mate Kévin Réza was racially insulted by the Italian driver Gianni Moscon . In October 2017 Reichenbach broke his elbow at the Tre Valli Varesine . Moscon was accused of having brought Reichenbach down by driving in a dangerous manner.
