Danilo Wyss (born August 26, 1985 in Pompaples ) is a Swiss cyclist .

Career

Danilo Wyss became Swiss road champion in 2001. The road World Championships U23, he was in 2006 Tenth and 2007 fifth. Also in 2007 Wyss won his first cycle race on the international calendar with the 3rd stage of the 3 Jours de Vaucluse .

After driving Atlas Romer's in-house bakery for Continental Team Atlas Romer's home bakery , which was driving under German license in 2007 , he switched to US ProTeam BMC in 2008 . There he won a stage of the Tour de Beauce in 2009 and the team time trial of the Giro del Trentino in 2012 . His greatest career success to date was the Swiss championship title in 2015, after beating Sébastien Reichenbach in a two-man sprint . After eleven years at BMC, Wyss moved to Team Dimension Data in 2019 , which was named NTT Pro Cycling Team the following year .
