Saorin

Saorin is an autochthonous white wine variety from the Valpolicella area in the Italian region of Veneto . The name means "taste" in the Veronese dialect. The Saorin vine is probably a clone of the Tocai Friulano variety .

The variety is generally not made single-variety, but blended with other varieties (e.g. Garganega ). It is mainly used in sweet wines , e.g. B. in the world-famous Reciotos from the Quintarelli winery.
