August Erne

August Erne (born February 15, 1905 in Leibstadt , † October 15, 1987 ) was a Swiss cyclist .

In 1932 August Erne became Swiss road champion and also won the Zurich championship . The following year he finished second in the Zurich championship and started the Tour de France , where he was 20th overall. In 1935 he was runner-up in the national road championship; In 1936 he finished third at the Zurich championship and won the third stage of the Tour de Suisse .
