Paul Zollinger

Paul Zollinger (born March 10, 1944 in Schlieren ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

Athletic career

Zollinger started cycling in 1960 and won twelve races as a junior. He started for the RV Höngg club. In 1963 he qualified for what was then the A-class for amateurs in Switzerland. In 1964 Paul Zollinger won the Grand Prix of the Canton of Geneva and came second in the Zurich championship . The following year he became Swiss road racing champion . In the Tour de Suisse in 1966, he finished third overall in 1967 rank 27th in the Tour of Switzerland in 1966 he at Paris-Nice twelfth, in 1967 third in the Championship of Zurich .

Familiar

Zollinger's twin brother, Ruedi Zollinger , was also a cyclist.
