Steve Zampieri

Steve Zampieri (born June 4, 1977 in Arbon ) is a former Swiss cyclist .

The 1.71 meter tall Zampieri turned professional in 2000. Before that he started as an amateur for the Velo-Club Littoral. He won the Prix de Armorique race in his first year as a professional. In 2001 he became Swiss champion on the mountain and thus proved his climbing skills. In 2003 Zampieri won the Vittel Trophy. He took part in the Tour de France twice and was Swiss mountain champion three times.
