Marcel Lequatre was a professional racing driver from 1902 to 1919. In 1904 he was Swiss runner-up in road racing and in 1906 and 1907 Swiss champion for professional stayers . In 1909 and 1917 he was third in the Swiss Road Championship and in 1919 again runner-up. He won the Swiss Romanshorn-Geneva race three times and Bern-Geneva four times : the first three races from 1908 to 1910 and again in 1918. In addition, he won the Tour du Lac Léman in 1906 and won. sixth place at Milan – Sanremo .
Lequatre competed three times in the Tour de France : in 1903 when the Tour was held for the first time, and in 1907 and 1908, but each time gave up after a few stages.
