Theo Heimann

Theo Heimann (born May 1, 1911 in Reichenbach , † August 19, 1979 in Zollikon ) was a Swiss cyclist .

Theo Heimann was a professional cyclist from 1931 to 1944 . In his first year as a professional he came second in the Bern-Geneva cycling race , and in 1933 he took third place in the Swiss road racing championship . In 1936 he won the Tour of Northwestern Switzerland . He also started in the Tour de France . He competed in the Tour de Suisse five times, and his best overall result was 12th in 1934.

From 1939 Heimann focused on standing races . In this discipline he was Swiss champion three times (1939, 1941 and 1944).
