The Yalgar River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Western Australia .

geography

The river has its source at the settlement of Katalundie on the Great Northern Highway , about 50 kilometers north of Meekatharra and then flows about 75 kilometers to the west to the mouth of its tributary Hope River . From there it flows in a north-westerly direction and joins east of the settlement Moorarie with the Ord River , a tributary of the Murchison River .

The entire course of the river is in the area of ​​the Local Government Area Meekatharra Shire .
