The Hope River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Western Australia .
geography
It rises in Lake Annean , about 40 kilometers southwest of Meekatharra and flows northeast. He crosses the Muggabullin Swamp . In the northern part of this swamp (Yalgar pool) joins the Hope River in the Yalgar River .

history
The origin of the name is not known, but it was given to the manager of Belele Station by one of his employees in 1943 .
