Vladimir Pulnikov
Vladimir Pulnikov (born June 7, 1965 , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Ukrainian cyclist .
Pulnikow finished second in the 1986 Peace Race as an amateur and received his first professional contract in 1989 with the San-Marinese cycling team Alfa Lum for which he won the Maglia Bianca of the best young rider at the Giro d'Italia in 1989 and achieved his best overall result in the 1990 event in fourth. In the following years he confirmed this service with the Grand Tours and took a. a. seventh at the Giro d'Italia in 1993 and tenth at the Tour de France in 1993 and 1994 . In 1992 Pulnikov became the Ukrainian road champion. After the 1998 season he ended his career.
