Oleksandr Klymenko (cyclist)
Oleksandr Klymenko (born December 19, 1975 ) is a former Ukrainian track and road cyclist .
Career
Oleksandr Klymenko won the silver medal in the team pursuit at the track cycling world championships in 1997 , together with Oleksandr Symonenko , Oleksandr Fedenko and Serhij Matwjejew . On the road, in 1997, Klymenko won the bronze medal in the road race of the Military World Championships. In the 2002 season he was Ukrainian road racing champion . He also won a stage and the overall ranking at the Tour of Japan and at the Bałtyk-Karkonosze Tour . The following year he was able to repeat the overall victory in the Bałtyk-Karkonosze Tour . In 2005 Klymenko was successful at the Grand Prix Palma in Slovakia . In the 2006 season he won the bronze medal in the individual time trial of the Military World Championships in Chaam, the Netherlands .
