Ernest Strobino (1925)

Ernest Strobino (born February 14, 1904 in Carouge , † June 8, 1994 in Chêne-Bougeries ) was a Swiss cyclist .

Athletic career

Ernest Strobino drove for the Geneva club VC Lancy , as did his brother René. In 1925 and 1926 he was Swiss champion in cyclo-cross racing . In 1925 he finished second at the unofficial cyclo-cross world championships in Paris .

Strobinos father Edouard was already a cyclist and took third place at the Tour du Lac Léman in 1896 ; his son Michel was also active as a racing driver.
