Roger Pipoz

Roger Pipoz (* 1. January 1905 in Neuchatel ; † 26. May 1956 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) was a Switzerland he cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

He had his first major successes with his victories in the Circuit du Jura in 1926 and 1927. In addition to road races, he also competed in cross-country races . In this discipline he won the national championship of Switzerland in 1927 and 1928. In 1931 he started in the Tour de France in the mixed team Switzerland / Australia and finished 21st in the overall classification. The following year he had to finish the tour on stage 6. In 1933 he was 36th on the tour. From 1936 he then mainly competed in cyclo-cross races. He drove the domestic Tour de Suisse in 1934 and finished 24th.
