The River Pool or Pool River is a watercourse in Greater London . It arises from the confluence of Chaffinch Brook and The Brook southwest of New Beckenham Station in the London Borough of Bromley . It flows north into the London Borough of Lewisham and flows into the River Ravensbourne in the Bell Green district .
