Giorgio Furlan (born March 9, 1966 in Treviso , Italy ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Furlan was one of the best professional cyclists in Italy in the early 1990s. His greatest career successes included victories in the classics Fleche Wallone 1992 and Milano-Sanremo 1994 as well as the stage races Tirreno-Adriatico 1994 and the Tour de Suisse 1992 .

The suspicion that Furlan in his time with the team Ballan EPO - Doping had driven was confirmed later. His 1995 samples had a hematocrit of 51.
