Ezio Corlaita

Ezio Corlaita (born October 25, 1889 in Bologna , † September 20, 1967 there ) was an Italian racing cyclist .

Ezio Corlaita was a professional athlete from 1909 to 1922 . The greatest success of his career was the victory at Milan-Sanremo in 1915 after a disqualification of Costante Girardengo , who had driven the wrong route. In 1913 he was already third, and in 1918 he was fourth in this race. He started five times at the Giro d'Italia , three times - in 1910 (4th), 1911 (5th) and 1919 (7th) - he placed in the top ten. In 1913 he won Milan-Modena and in 1914 the Giro dell'Emilia .
