Loretto Petrucci

Loretto Petrucci (born August 18, 1929 in Capostrada di Pistoia , † June 17, 2016 there ) was an Italian racing cyclist .

Loretto Petrucci was a professional racing driver from 1949 to 1960. The greatest successes of his career were two victories at Milan – Sanremo , 1952 and 1953. He also won the 1951 Giro della Toscana and the GP Massaua Fornati , and in 1952 he came second on the Tour of Flanders and the Trofeo Baracchi . In 1953, when he won Milan-Sanremo , he also won the Paris-Brussels race , finished second and third in several larger races - he was Italian runner-up in the road race - and thus won the annual overall Challenge Desgrange-Colombo . In 1955 he won the Giro del Lazio .
