Alfredo Bovet

Alfredo Bovet (born June 5, 1909 in Cully , Switzerland ; † January 18, 1993 in Renens , Switzerland) was an Italian racing cyclist .

Alfredo Bovet was a professional athlete from 1930 to 1946 . The greatest success of his career was the victory at Milan – Sanremo in 1932.

In 1931, Bovet had already won the Coppa San Geo . In 1932 he was second at Tre Valli Varesine and at the Grand Prix des Nations . In 1933 he won the Tour of Catalonia and Tre Valli Varesine, finished second at Milan-Sanremo and third in the Italian road championship. He also finished second in the mountain classification of the Giro d'Italia and was fourth in the overall classification.
