Route of the Giro

The 21st Giro d'Italia took place from May 6th to May 28th 1933.

The bike race consisted of 17 stages with a total length of 3,343 kilometers. 51 of 97 participants reached the finish. Alfredo Binda won the Giro from Jeff Demuysere , the team championship was won by the Legnano team. The mountain classification, which was held for the first time, was won by the overall winner Alfredo Binda, as was the first time trial of the Giro.
