Ludwig Geyer (cyclist)
Ludwig Geyer (born April 18, 1904 in Hambach ; † January 31, 1992 ) was a German racing cyclist .
Career
Ludwig Geyer is considered to be one of the best German professional racing drivers of the 1930s. The former professional cyclist and later sporting director of the Torpedo team was a two-time stage winner on the Tour of Germany , winner of the second Tour de Suisse and a five-time Tour de France participant.

- Overall winner and stage winner Tour de Suisse , 1934 (next to Hennes Junkermann 1959/62 and Jan Ullrich 2004 the only German winner of the tour)
- Five participations in the Tour de France (1931: 19th place / 1932: 22nd place / 1933: 12th place / 1934: 7th place / 1937: 28th place)
- Five participations in the Tour of Germany (1931: 6th place and 1937: 2nd place)
- Two stage winners of the Tour of Germany : in 1937 from Erfurt to Schweinfurt and in 1939 from Nuremberg to Passau
- Participation in several spring classics with good placements
- Participation in six road world championships for professional racing drivers
- Two Giro participations (1932: 35th place / 1933: 7th place)
