Michael Roesch

Michael Roesch (born April 24, 1974 ) is a director , producer and screenwriter . He works in a team with filmmaker Peter Scheerer on his films .

A film fan since early childhood, Michael Roesch began making short films at the age of twelve. During his studies, he worked as a freelancer for various magazines, including a Heilbronn advertising paper and the self-published city newspaper.

Later he started working as a screenwriter with Peter Scheerer and worked on various films in the producer team. The screenplays filmed by Scheerer and Roesch include those filmed by Uwe Boll , Alone in the Dark , House of the Dead II and Far Cry .

At the end of 2005 Roesch and Scheerer made their directorial debut with the vampire film Brotherhood of Blood , starring Victoria Pratt , Sid Haig and Ken Foree . The film had its world premiere in October 2007 at the Sitges International Film Festival in Sitges, Spain.
