Victoria Pratt (2005)

Victoria Ainsle Pratt (born December 18, 1970 in Chesley , Ontario ; also known as Vicky Pratt ) is a Canadian actress and author. She previously worked as a fitness model .

Life

Pratt holds a summa cum laude degree in exercise science from York University in Toronto . She worked there in a test laboratory and examined athletes on such teams as the Toronto Maple Leafs , Winnipeg Jets and San Jose Sharks . She was offered a scholarship to study physiotherapy at the University of Toronto, but turned it down.

In the 1990s in particular, Pratt was a popular photo model because of her beauty and toned body and appeared in numerous fitness and bodybuilding magazines. She is also the co-author of a book on bodybuilding and fitness training that she co-wrote with one of her former professors.

Pratt later began taking acting classes in Toronto. She got her first roles in 1998, for example in the science fiction TV show Once a Thief (as Jackie Janczyk ), Cleopatra 2525 (as Sarge ) and Mutant X (as Shalimar Fox ). In 2004 she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Mutant X in the category Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series .

Pratt has a blue belt in Shōtōkan Karate and is also a kickboxer . In October 2000 she married the director TJ Scott. The couple separated before 2016 and the marriage ended in divorce. In 2015 she published the novel Double Down . On October 12, 2019, she married country singer Trace Adkins .
