Reviews

Peter Debruge wrote in Variety magazine on March 26, 2007 that the film looked like an " off-off Broadway play ". Thanks to the cast, he could simply sell himself on DVDs, but his chances in the cinemas were lower.

Mark Olsen derided in the Los Angeles Times on March 23, 2007 that the film was a film about pain - the pain that viewers would experience. It is possibly the poorest thought out and most inappropriately executed motion picture in a while. There are too many low-content dialogues (“ there is too much chatty talk ”, “ empty calories of the dialogue ”).

The March 23, 2007 The Hollywood Reporter magazine derided that someone should tell Mars Callahan what a movie is. This film was " discouraging bad " ( " discouragingly bad "). The dialogues, the characters and the situations are " embarrassingly bad ". The worst are the portrayals of Matthew Lillard, who plays an " impossible character " and of Cuba Gooding junior, who seems lost. The prospects of the film in the cinemas are less than the intelligence of most characters.
