Andrew Daly (born April 15, 1971 in Mount Kisco , New York ) is an American actor , comedian and screenwriter .

Career

Daly began his career and New York City with Andy Secunda as the comedy duo The Two Andys , with whom they appeared as part of the Aspen Comedy Festival in 1999. He was also a member of the ensemble of the Chicago City Limits improvisation theater . He became part of the comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade , which was co-founded by Adam McKay , among others , after they moved from Chicago to New York. He also became a member of the improv group The Swarm , founded and led by Amy Poehler .

He got his first television appearances in the late 1990s on the show Late Night with Conan O'Brien and was a spokesperson for cartoons for the show Saturday Night Live . In 2000 he became an ensemble member of the television show MADtv from its sixth season. After leaving MADtv in 2002, he became one of the lead actors and writers of Crossballs on Comedy Central . He also played various characters in the Reno 911 series . In 2007 he appeared as Benjamin Franklin in the US version of the comedy series The Office , Das Büro . He has played director Terrence Cutler since the first season of the HBO series Eastbound & Down . From 2010 to 2012 he was in the series Delocated . Since 2014 Daly has been running his own television series, Review , in which he plays the main character.

He had his first film appearance in 2004 in the comedy Crazy Christmas with Tim Allen . This was followed by engagements in films such as Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell and Transformers 3 .

In addition to acting, he also works as a stand-up comedian .

Daly lives in Los Angeles and is married to actress Carri Levinson .
