Adolfo Leoni (born January 13, 1917 in Gualdo Tadino , †  October 19, 1970 in Massa ) was an Italian cyclist . He began his career in 1938 and ended it in 1952.

Leoni celebrated his greatest successes at the Giro d'Italia , which he finished fourth in 1949 and during which he wore the Maglia Rosa for eight days . He won a total of 17 Giro stages. His only participation in the Tour de France involuntarily ended after the eleventh stage. On this, the runaway Gino Bartali and Jean Robic were brought down by drunk fans on the Col d'Aspin and Bartali was then severely harassed. Bartali won the stage, but the Italian teams withdrew in protest. Leoni had previously won the second stage. In 1937 Leoni was able to win the amateur world championship win.
