Janusz Kowalski
Janusz Kowalski (born June 8, 1952 in Świebodzin ) is a former Polish cyclist .
Career
1973 Janusz Kowalski was third in the Polish championship in road racing. In 1974 he won the title of world amateur road champion in Montreal . In the same year he was third in the Polish road championship and the mountain championship and won the title in the team time trial with his club Legia Warsaw . In 1975 he won the Tour of Bulgaria and the Tour of Małopolska and in 1976 the Tour of Poland . Twice - 1974 and 1976 - he took part in the International Peace Tour ; In 1974 he was 16th overall and in 1976 he was 14th. In 1976 he also wore the purple jersey for the most active driver for one day .
