Alfo Ferrari
Adolfo "Alfo" Ferrari (born September 20, 1924 in Sospiro ; † November 30, 1998 there ) was an Italian cyclist and world champion in cycling .
1947 Alfonso Ferrari in Reims world champion of amateurs in the road race . The following year he finished ninth in the road race at the Olympic Games in London . In the 1950 World Amateurs Road Championship , he was third. He was also three times - in 1947, 1948 and 1950 - Italian road champion. Then he turned professional, but could not establish himself. In 1958 he resigned from cycling.
A memorial was erected in his hometown in his honor and the Trofeo Memorial Alfo Ferrari race for young racing drivers has been held every year since 2005 .
