Mirco Gualdi

Mirco Gualdi (born July 7, 1968 in Alzano Lombardo ) is a former Italian cyclist .

In 1985 Mirco Gualdi was third in the Italian junior road racing championship. In 1986 he finished fourth in road racing at the UCI Road World Championships in 1986 and 15th place in 1989. In 1990 he was world champion of the amateur road world in Utsunomiya, Japan, and was third in the Italian road championship. In 1991 he was ninth in the Road World Championships . At the road race of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , he finished 71st.

From 1993 to 2000 Gualdi was a professional cyclist, but without being able to achieve any major success. In 1998 he finished third in the Italian championship in the individual time trial and came second at Paris-Tours .
