Gianni Giacomini (born August 18, 1958 in Cimadolmo , Treviso ) is a former Italian cyclist and world champion.

Up to 1976 he had 46 victories as a junior . In 1978 Gianni Giacomini became military world champion in road racing, and the following year he won the world title at the UCI road world championships in 1979 in Valkenburg, the Netherlands . In 1980 he took fifth place and 18th place in the individual road race with the Italian street four at the Olympic Games in Moscow . As an amateur, he started for the CS Serrande de Nardi club . In 1981 he became a professional, but could not establish himself due to health problems. In 1983 he ended his career.
