Henry Hansen

Henry Peter Christian Hansen (born March 16, 1902 in Glostrup , † March 28, 1985 in Gentofte ) was a Danish cyclist .

Hansen was Danish amateur road champion in 1921, 1923, 1925 to 1927, 1929 and 1930 . In 1928 he took part in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam . Hansen won both the road race and the team championship together with Orla Jørgensen and Leo Nielsen . In 1931 Hansen was the amateur world champion in road racing at the UCI Road World Championships in Copenhagen . Hansen also took part in the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , where he won the silver medal in the team competition over 100 kilometers together with Leo Nielsen and Frode Sørensen , and Hansen was twelfth in the individual competition.

Hansen was active as a professional cyclist from 1937 to 1938 without much success.
