Hubertus Balthazar "Bart" Zoet (born October 20, 1942 in Sassenheim ; † May 13, 1992 ibid) was a Dutch cyclist and Olympic champion.

As an amateur , Bart Zoet won numerous domestic races, including the Eight van Chaam . In 1964 he won the gold medal in the team time trial at the Olympic Games in Tokyo together with Jan Pieterse , Evert Dolman and Gerben Karstens . In the Olympic road race , he was classified 20th.

From 1965 to 1970 Zoet was a professional, but could not establish himself, although he was considered a great talent, which was particularly respected by his cycling colleagues. His greatest successes were in 1966 and 1967 in each case third place in the Dutch championship in the single pursuit on the track .

Zoet died of a heart attack in 1992 at the age of 49. Loneliness, bitterness and alcohol are assumed to be the reason. In 2002 a book about his life was published: Het Zure Leven van Bart Zoet (Dutch = The sour life of Bart Zoet ) by Gijs Zandbergen
