Eluf Dalgaard
Eluf Dalgaard (born May 26, 1929 in Vejle , Denmark ; † September 12, 2004 there ) was a Danish cyclist .
Athletic career
In Vejle he worked in a slaughterhouse (until 1952). He started cycling in 1948.
- In 1952 he was the Danish master of the individual pursuit (4 km) on the track and won the Swedish six-day journey.
- In 1954 he won the International Peace Ride. In 1957 he started again there and was 21.
- In 1958 he took part in the Tour de France .
- At the UCI World Championships in Lugano in 1953, he finished 6th.
From autumn 1952 he worked as a bicycle fitter in Uppsala (Sweden).
He switched between the Monark and Crescent teams in 1958 and 1959 .
