Giampaolo Cheula (born May 23, 1979 in Premosello-Chiovenda ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Giampaolo Cheula became a professional in 2001 with the Belgian-Italian cycling team Mapei-Quick Step . In his second year there, he won one stage of the Bayern Tour . He then moved to Vini Caldirola , where again drove for two years. From 2005 Cheula started for the British Professional Continental Team Barloworld . He celebrated his greatest success in May 2006, when he won the overall ranking of the Peace Tour. In 2007 and 2007 he took part in the Tour de France , in 2003 (63rd overall), 2009 (110th) and 2010 in the Giro d'Italia (123rd).
