Pavel Padrnos
Pavel Padrnos (born December 17, 1970 in Třebíč ) is a former Czech cyclist .
Career
Pavel Padrnos had his most successful years in sport in 1994 and 1995. He won the German races Bayern Rundfahrt , Hessen Rundfahrt , Niedersachsen Rundfahrt and the International Peace Tour . As an amateur he started for the club Favorit Brno . In 1996 he became a professional with the Czech team Tico . A year later he switched to the Italian cycling team Roslotto-ZG Mobili , with whom he took part in the Tour de France for the first time . He drove for Lampre and Saeco for the next four years . In his five years in Italy he competed in the Giro d'Italia every year , and his best result was 18th place overall in 1999 . In 2002 he moved to the US team US Postal Service by Lance Armstrong . From then on he rode the Tour de France with him every year and thus helped him to four Tour victories. In 2003 and in the following three years he won the team time trial at the Tour with his selection. From 2005 Padrnos was under contract with the successor team Discovery Channel . At the end of the 2007 season, he ended his career after the team split up.

In 1994, Pavel Padrnos was the winner of the annual survey of the Král cyklistiky ( cycling king ) of the Československý svaz cyklistiky cycling association.
