Amy Elaine (* 1972 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a trained actress and singer . She lives near Berlin .

Life

She began her career with background and band singing, she has been singing solo since 2003, and in 2004 her first solo CD was released with the ballad Tell Me the Reason. In addition to her own pieces , her repertoire now includes cover versions of international hits from the 1980s and 1990s. She sings in both German and English, performs with a band and also solo and can often be seen in the opening act of well-known stars (e.g. Pur , Nena , Spider Murphy Gang ).

Elaine has recorded a few commercial songs over the course of her career; Her song Enjoy, which she sang for Coca-Cola in 2000 , achieved great fame . She graduated from the Berlin School for Performing Arts and can often be seen in the TV series Familiengericht on RTL . She played the leading role in the musical Traumfabrik . Amy Elaine, whose sister is disabled, has been campaigning for people with disabilities for a long time .

In 2006 she was actively involved as an ambassador for the 2006 World Cup for people with disabilities and sang the official World Cup anthem There Is a Dream, the text of which was written by Claudia Kohde-Kilsch . In the summer months, Amy Elaine accompanied the boy band NeuerdinXx on the promotion tour of the World Cup truck through Germany and presented the song a. a. also in the stadiums where World Cup matches were played.
