Fritz Ravn

Fritz Ravn (born September 13, 1929 in Esbjerg ; † August 28, 2013 ) was a Danish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

In 1955 he won the title with the Danish team at the Nordic championships in the team time trial. In 1956 Ravn won the Danish championship in the road race of amateurs. In May of this year he started at the International Peace Tour, where he finished 46th in the overall ranking after finishing 40th the previous year. As an amateur he started for the ABC Copenhagen club . From 1956 to 1966 he drove as a professional driver. In 1958 he competed in the Tour de France in an internationally mixed team, but retired on the first stage. In 1957 he retired from the world championship race, before he had the Tour de Suisse Finished as 44th.
