André Dufraisse (born June 30, 1926 in Razès ) is a former French cyclist and five-time world champion in cyclo-cross racing .

André Dufraisse was a professional cyclist from 1950 to 1964 and one of the dominant cross-country cyclists in the world. He was five times in a row - from 1954 to 1958 - world champion and twice - in 1951 and 1952 - vice world champion and three times third. He was French cyclocross champion seven times. Twice (1956 and 1957) he won the "Critérium Martini" and in 1951 the "Subita a Arantzazu". He contested his first race in 1948 while participating in a street race. In 1950 he consistently turned to cyclo-cross racing.

The cross-country race "La Limousine André Dufraisse" is held annually in the French region of Limousin .

Dufraisse was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor ; his godfather at the appointment ceremony was the former French cyclist Raymond Poulidor .
