Sylvain Grysolle (born December 12, 1915 in Wichelen , † January 19, 1985 in Aalst ) was a Belgian cyclist. His professional career lasted from 1936 to 1950.

Sylvain Grysolle was considered a classic hunter . Already in 1935 and 1936 he won the Schaal Sels Merksem race , in 1937 the Scheldeprijs and the Grote Prijs Stad Zottegem . In 1938 he won the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen and the Omloop of the Vlaamse Gewesten .

The outbreak of World War II also had an impact on international cycling races, but Grysolle was able to celebrate its greatest successes especially during and after the war. In 1941 he won the Walloon Arrow , in 1945 the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen for the second time and also the Tour of Flanders (ahead of Albert Sercu and Joseph Moerenhout ), in 1946 he took second place at Paris-Brussels behind Briek Schotte , which he won in 1948 at the Omloop Het Volk (before Fausto Coppi and Marcel Hendrickx ) followed.

A total of 43 victories have been recorded for him, 23 of them in road races and 10 each in criteria or stage races.
